The Department of Mathematics is one of the fundamental pillars of the College’s academic structure, as mathematics plays a central role in building scientific thinking, developing intellectual and analytical abilities, and establishing logical methods of reasoning and problem-solving.

The Department is keen to offer an integrated academic program that combines theoretical foundations with practical applications and keeps pace with modern scientific and technological developments. This contributes to preparing academically and pedagogically qualified graduates capable of effective participation in education, scientific research, and the labor market.

The Department also seeks to instill values of accuracy, objectivity, and critical thinking among students, and to promote scientific research, innovation, and lifelong learning, in harmony with the mission of the College and the University in serving society and developing human potential.

Description


The Department of Mathematics offers a comprehensive academic program aimed at establishing a solid scientific foundation in various branches of mathematics, including algebra, mathematical analysis, geometry, statistics, and applied mathematics. The program also includes courses in mathematics teaching methods and educational technology.


The program focuses on developing a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, linking theoretical knowledge with practical applications, and employing modern approaches to teaching and assessment, ensuring the preparation of graduates capable of teaching, research, and professional practice with high competence.
